We do not necessarily experience the world around us the same as our friends, family members, or others we meet in our daily lives. Charvet presents 14 significant language/behaviours that distinguish how we react to our experiences that may be different from those with whom we wish to have a great relationship or influence. One such pattern is “toward -away from”. Toward-people are focused on their goals. They are motivated to have, get, achieve, attain, ... .
