Why did I love this book?
I was in a constant state of suspense as I listened to The Silent Patient. A therapist in a psychiatric facility is intent on unlocking the secrets of a female patient who never speaks. She is a famous painter, believed to have murdered her husband. Each chapter reveals another layer of the story behind the murder. I was totally blown away when the ending arrived. Never a dull scene or unnecessary word.
