I read this book a few months ago. I was looking for a psychological thriller. And to an extent it was, but it is definitely a crime read that will leave you breathless.

The crime in the book was a cold case, and it was interesting to see the mindset of a small town. They all pointed an easy finger, without actually looking at all the facts. It opened my mind to understand that my first thought in my writing shouldn’t necessarily be my final. There were a lot of twists, and at each point I think I know who might be the killer, but I only figured it out toward the end.
