Why read it?
1 author picked Bear and His Daughter as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

This richly imagined and painfully wrought collection of stories hit me like a dangerous narcotic, leaving me breathless, wounded, and desperate for more.
From C.B.'s list on how dark things can get for people.
