K. Marie Smith Why did I love this book?

I adored this book so much! I love a good poly romance book, and when a friend sent it to me, I knew it was right up my alley! Not only was it a very modern take on a monster romance with the dating app aspect, but the male characters were incredibly sweet, and all five of them were so different as well. I was hoping for a little bit more, action-wise at least, but overall, it was a fun little palate cleanser for me.

I was absolutely left wanting more from this author, and I can’t wait for the next book and a new couple's group.

“Download Monstr and slither into your future mate’s DMs!”

Tequila shots and dating apps don’t mix. Celebrating the end of grad school, Drunk Nicole thought it would be a brilliant idea to find a monster sugar daddy to help her pay off her student loans and help her fix up the rundown house she had inherited.
Surely there was a rich vampire or gold-laden dragon out there who might have a thing for messy brunettes with threadbare sweatpants and a caffeine addiction?

But in the light of day (and her crippling hangover) Sober Nicole thinks Drunk Nicole was an idiot.…

My 2nd favorite read in 2023

Book cover of Butcher & Blackbird

K. Marie Smith Why did I love this book?

What is there to say that not everyone else has said by now? This book was just fun! Sure, it's about two serial killers in a competition who slowly fall for each other, and I’ll never look at cookies and cream ice cream the same after reading this (if you know, you know), but it was still fun.

I couldn’t put it down, and it combined my favorite things: Serial Killers and witty banter that was just to die for! By far, it's one of the most unique books I’ve ever read, and I can not wait for Leather & Lark!

Book cover of His Victim's Torment

K. Marie Smith Why did I love this book?

This is yet another wild ride of a book, but this time, it is not so cutesy. Definitely not cutesy at all.

Well, unless you count the blossoming relationship between Mary, a protected witness in the case against Jimmy Yates, and Devon Walker, the FBI agent in charge of protection detail. Then there’s all the banter and slow burn that sizzles between them.

This book, however, is very realistic on the forensics, so if you’re not into blood, gore, and deranged serial killers who like rats, fair warning!

Don‘t forget about my book 😀

Book cover of Touch

What is my book about?

My book is about Zera Grey, who grew up as a slave and eventually wound up under the thumb of the worst of the worst: the Eldest son of the Imperial Royal family.

She finally escapes at the age of 20 and joins a mercenary guild by signing a contract and lives to cope with c-PTSD from her traumas.

After four years, the job of a lifetime falls into her lap. Zera knew it was too good to be true. It was easy enough to find dirt on the youngest of the Riverforest family to ensure he couldn’t get the throne. Never in a million years did Zera think that was only the start of a whirlwind that would become her life, and her destiny was on the brink.
