Why read it?

3 authors picked Slightly Dangerous as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Slightly Dangerous is a Regency romance, and it’s book 6 in the Slightly series. Wulfric Bedwyn is the hero, and I would compare him to Fitzwilliam Darcy. To understand Wulfric, to see him as he truly deserves, you should read the first 5 books in the series, as well. You will discover a family of six stubborn, risk-taking, highly intelligent siblings, headed by Wulfric. And Wulfric is, without a doubt, the most misunderstood. And the most brilliant. My heart pounds every time he speaks. I can’t tell you how much I longed for his family to learn how much he…

Slightly Dangerous is a historical romance novel where you will root and completely fall head over heels for the main hero. I absolutely love how the author wrote the hero’s character in such a way that you find yourself intertwined with him, mind, body, and soul. He is a sort of hero where everyone believes him to be dangerous and heartless, but is the opposite, and this story will take you on the journey of that discovery. I really was curious how Ms. Balogh would create any kind of romance out of such a fascinating but distant character yet she pulls it off. Enter a vibrant and unpredictable heroine that throws him at every turn, but is just so likable you are in her corner all the way, and somehow she makes him likable as well because she reveals his vulnerable side that he so…
