Why read it?

3 authors picked The Practice as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

In The Practice, Godin successfully does that “thing,” that he is so uniquely good at: sharing wisdom with panache and joy, not condescension or cliché. He artfully argues for the creative to better empathize with their audience, and in doing so, create better art. Since, creativity is nothing without impact.

We are constantly training, learning, failing, improving, at everything we do. Anything we want to pursue, or dedicate ourselves to, will also take a lot of practice. From Tom's list on overcoming procrastination.

Equal parts insight and inspiration encouraging readers to develop and deliver upon their creative potential and promise. Developing and delivering the difference only you can make requires a daily discipline and intentional relationships. Seth's book show's the way to do both with integrity and joy.

From Scott's list on living the good life.
