Book cover of Butterflies

Michelle Styles ❤️ loved this book because...

I read Butterflies as an arc and I could not put it down. It is now firmly on my Keeper Shelf. The book made me cry in places and was so life-affirming. It is speculative fiction with a romantic twist. It is time travel for those people who love Sliding Doors and what ifs. It is really a great book to curl up with.

Book cover of London Rules

Michelle Styles ❤️ loved this book because...

This was my favourite of the Slow Horses book series. The character of Jackson Lamb is truly Falstaffian. There are reasons why Herron is considered to be the new master of spy-tainment. Although I love the tv series, Slow Horses, the books are so much better. A real treat.

Book cover of Moscow X

Michelle Styles ❤️ loved this book because...

McCloskey is brilliant at teaching the reader about a country's internal politics while providing a fast and page turning read. His first book Damascus Station gave me a lot of insight into Syria and in Moscow X he does the same to Putin's Russia. It is spy-tainment at its best.
