Why read it?

1 author picked Magic & Murder as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

This was such a gorgeous read and it was just what I needed when the world was feeling a bit turbulent. This is a story that features a single mum, Ember, learning that she has magic. She moves to a paranormal town and has to find her place amongst her newly discovered magical family, with her daughter, Marly. Ember is such a fun character because she really speaks her mind, often without fully thinking it through. It was funny, warm-hearted and magical. I dived straight into book two of the series.

Secondly, I’m not the only one on her trail; she’s also being tracked by the implacable and oh-so-sexy Inspector Stone. Stone…
