This beautifully written story is a captivating and unique experience. The author's ability to craft a stunning narrative around such a macabre subject matter makes it the perfect Halloween read. It's easily my surprise read of the year. The rich world-building, intriguing power dynamics, and relatable protagonist kept me engaged from beginning to end. Despite my lack of knowledge about ballet, the author's descriptions were captivating and twistedly beautiful. I can't wait to see what comes next!

It was fun to follow this pink-tinted journey—even though I can’t tell if it's pink from all the leotards or all the blood. I'm a sucker for atmosphere, and a bad girl story set against a backdrop of the cutthroat world of Parisian ballet was always going to be a win for me.
