Why read it?

1 author picked How To Recognize A Demon Has Become Your Friend as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

I read this poetry and prose collection a while back, and it’s still one of my favorites in terms of flow and visuals. I like the way Linda Addison formats the poems on the pages. The indents and line lengths vary, and so, to me, it’s like a little treat for your eyes as you read.

I loved the take on demons and how the “real world” the works felt versus feeling too unrealistic and supernatural.
