Why read it?

1 author picked The Maul and the Pear Tree as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Detective fiction writer James and historian Critchley teamed up in 1971 to use their respective talents to sift the contradictory accounts of the killings of the Marr and Williamson households.
