From Caitlin's list on historical fiction you can't put down.
I’ll start by saying this isn’t “fantasy” but it is my favorite historical fiction novel to date (for over ten years, actually). If you love ancient Egypt, engrossing world building, palace intrigue, friends to lovers romance, mythology, and “all the things” then this is a book you’ll enjoy. I absolutely love Michelle Moran, she’s one of my all-time favorite authors, and this novel is a perfectly woven tapestry that will transport you back to Egypt’s golden age.
