Serpent & Dove

Serpent and Dove is a story about a witch, Lou Le Blanc, who is forced to marry a witch hunter, Reid Diggory. I loved this book because it does a good job of showing the relationship between these two polar opposite characters. But it also shows how even people I thought could never have anything in common can find things that tie them together.

A laugh-out-loud snarky (and definitely steamy) enemies-to-lovers story about a witch hunter falling for the witch he’s supposed to kill. Though there’s a lot of romance and tension between the characters, we also get a good amount of action and exploration of this world of “Chasseurs” and witches. 

This book has all you can ask for: A great story, likeable characters, and an enemies-to-lovers romance that will make you swoon. The French setting was a refreshing take, and both the romance and the plot moved in a fluid way. The characters were layered and the story kept me on the edge of my seat.
