I absolutely loved this book because it opened my eyes.
I listened to it first then bought a hard copy to share. I thought I would understand the Trans world, but I didn’t even come close. Amanda, who now goes by Rowan, made me want to be a part of her family. With the transition of her daughter, I could feel the love. When another member also came out as trans, I could feel the turmoil.
I haven’t stopped thinking of this book or this family since I read it. I’ve recommended it to multiple people when they ask me…
