Book cover of Edge of the Known World

Elizabeth Reed Aden ❤️ loved this book because...

Edge of the Known World took me to so many places geographically, culturally and scientifically. It is a stunningly plausible science fiction that is beautifully and evocatively written. Sheri T Joseph describes the characters, situations, emotions in a way that keeps the reader immersed and turning the pages. There were unexpected twists and turns everywhere and it was a satisfying read and I can't wait for Joseph's next book.

Book cover of Bump In The Road

Elizabeth Reed Aden ❤️ loved this book because...

Wetzel chronicles her remarkable journey of adaptation and survival. Her story is remarkable for having weathered, survived and emerged stronger from two life threatening diseases (myasthenia gravis and cancer). She encouraged others to share their stories and incorporates them into Bump in the Road. I liked the way the book is structured so the reader can interact, reflect and incorporate the experiences and insights from Wetzel but each of 15 other people whose stories she incorporates.

Don‘t forget about my book 😀

Book cover of The Goldilocks Genome: A Medical Thriller

What is my book about?

When a psychopathic serial killer uses medical technology to exact revenge, epidemiologist Carrie Hediger must investigate to solve the death of her friend.
Convinced her friend has been poisoned, the heroine hones in on the murderer using statistics, persuasion, persistence, and disregard of the rules to trap him.
Genes are the blueprints for the enzymes that metabolize drugs. Drugs are “just right” for about 40% of patients and “too much” or “too little” for the remainder. Outside of the Goldilocks zone, the results can be fatal. This novel is a thrilling story of revenge, justice, and medical investigation that will captivate you.
