Why read it?

1 author picked The Politics of Resentment as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Too often leftists seem to want to unfairly dismiss all rural conservatives as hopelessly ignorant, racist, or even worse. The Politics of Rural Resentment’s humanizing portrayal helped me to better understand the motivations of people who don’t live in urban centers.
