Why read it?

1 author picked Mercy as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

I have long been a fan of Jodi Picoult’s books. They are invariably beautifully written, thought provoking, and deeply considered explorations of relationships and human behaviour in confronting situations.

Mercy is no exception. I found this story about a man who confesses to killing his terminally ill wife in an act of mercy difficult to put aside.
