No, this isn't the title of a B-movie—it's the fun, sexy, and surprisingly sweet start of a series with wonderful world-building and likable characters.

This book is about how a group of human women abducted by evil aliens crash-land on a planet full of hunky, endearing aliens and the adventures they share.

I loved how the aliens cherished and celebrated the women in this story instead of reviling their humanity, as I've seen in other sci-fi stories. The spicy scenes are hot, and the heroine is a natural leader who doesn't passively wait around to be rescued.

This series was recommended by a friend and I’m hooked. Again, more broody, kick-ass, heroes. It’s a theme I have a thing for. These are quick reads which isn’t a bad thing – there are plenty of books in the series. The books focus on two main characters but also introduce the other players which draws you into the next book. And the next. I’m not usually a fan of human/ alien romances but this series changed my mind. It’s not just a romance – there is a plot and the characters have personalities. Oh come on, you knew I was going to do it. I am a dyed-in-the-wool Trekkie and we weren't getting out of this list without some sci-romance. Shipwrecked on a planet of Blue aliens, a cargo ship full of human women must make due. There are at least 21 of these stories and I read them like potato chips. The first story is for Georgie and Vektal; he is friendly, the good kind of possessive, and cherishes Georgie. The planet is compelling and Ruby describes the alien world well.
