Why read it?

2 authors picked I Am Malala as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

I learned a lot about how women and girls are treated in Pakistan. I loved how brave Malala was and how she and her father continued their fight for Pakistani girls to be educated despite the fact that Malala was shot and almost killed.

Malala is a wonderful example to girls all around the world, like me, about how we can stand up for what is right and important. She was brave, and I want to be brave, too.

Each time I read this book, I feel like I can do anything that I want.
