Suki Fleet is one of those rare authors whose writing is just sublime. Sheer perfection, I dare to say, reading like poetry, the sentences jumping straight off the page. Every feeling, every word, is felt on your own skin as you read, making their books an emotional and fully absorbing treat.

This book is a paranormal story of love, abandonment, and lifelong hope intertwined with a mystery to be solved. I always love a good dose of Suki’s trademark gutwrenching hurt/comfort, and this book delivered that in spades.
