Why read it?

1 author picked All Bound Up Together as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

All Bound Up Together highlights the ways, beginning in 1830, that Black women’s rights efforts were central to the Black freedom struggle and early American feminism. It recasts both stories by putting Black women’s concerns, ideas, and organizing at the center.
