Why read it?
4 authors picked Love on the Brain as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?
I appreciated the humor as well as the genre of STEMinist rom-com.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that when talking to a stranger online, one immediately hopes that they are seriously good-looking (and also hopefully kind of tall). It is also a truth universally acknowledged that Ali Hazelwood will deliver big, hulking, hot guys who seem grumpy but have hearts of gold in her novels. Love on the Brain combines these two universal truths into a workplace enemies-to-lovers romp that is stuffed with fluffy STEM goodness.
This book is off the rails in the best way. It delivers secret penpals who don’t realize that they are grad school enemies and current…

This book, oh gosh, this book! Firstly, we have an incredibly funny and endearing protagonist. Bee stole my heart from the first page, and if she were a real person, I’d want to be her best friend. Secondly, the male main character is so swoon-worthy in the most unexpected ways. When he finally comes around to confess his love for Bee, he doesn’t even know he’s confessing to her!

Scientist Levi Ward, in this enemies-to-lovers trope set in the world of science, is a compelling character.
With startling green eyes that I felt myself drowning in, a strong work ethic, and always determined to do what’s right, I found myself suddenly wishing I’d stuck with studying science at school. It would’ve helped if I’d been any good at science, though.
From Julie's list on romance books with an irresistible hero.
