I don't read many comic books or romances, but I'll be making exceptions for Eunnie's stories from now on! Eunnie writes and draws wonderfully expressive characters who I rooted for from the very first page. Even in our heroine's most miserable moments, the story is drawn in hopeful colors, and when things were going well, my heart soared with hers.
The romance plot itself feels natural and dynamic. Although the perspective is firmly from the introspective protagonist, I really enjoyed the glimpses of the story events from other people's perspective which clearly show that the adorably shy protagonist might be…
I love new adult stories and endearing art. This book reminded me of a beautiful and terrifying time in my life when I wasn’t yet a “real” adult, but not a child, either.
The main characters are riddled with anxieties I know all too well. They get in their own way when it comes to finding love. Seeing them stumble, eventually learn from their mistakes, and grow together was cathartic.
