Book cover of May God Forgive

Sherryl Clark Why did I love this book?

Harry McCoy is my favorite kind of detective – one who is compelled to pursue the truth, no matter where it leads him. He’s flawed, but you just have to keep reading and following him into more disasters. I love how the other characters are unusual but intriguing.

Book cover of The Last Time We Spoke

Sherryl Clark Why did I love this book?

This novel deals with the aftermath of a terrible crime, not its detection, which makes it stand out. Great writing, strong characters and excellent interweaving of the different perspectives. I really felt for all of the characters and couldn’t wait to find out what would happen to them.
