Instead, she plays tricks on him and issues ultimatums, only to regret them. Their journey to respect each other’s role in the household and fall in love is another great Regency romance with extra spice.
This was the first mischievous heroine I’d read in a spicy Regency where the stakes feel higher (at least to her posterior) and I loved it.
