Hawk and Adrienne are one of those H/h pairs that truly match each other in intelligence, likability, and uncompromising strength. What separates them, though, is the vast canyon between their ideals. Oh, and this little bet the ever-meddling Fae have going on. Pick this one up for a rich, realistic historical backdrop, deeply moving characters, and a slow-burn romance for the ages.
