Book cover of Scandalous Women

Tanya E. Williams ❤️ loved this book because...

I loved this book because it immersed me in the 1960s era of book publishing where two women challenged the industry by writing strong female protagonists who weren't afraid to speak their mind. Add to that, book tours didn't exist until Jackie Collins and Jacqueline Susann took it upon themselves to make relationships with both bookstores and readers via scheduled tours across the country.

Book cover of Only The Beautiful

Tanya E. Williams ❤️ loved this book because...

I loved this book because its vineyard setting pulled me in and then the controversial history of female sterilization kept me glued to the page. I was shocked to learn of how far into the twentieth century women were being forced into procedures that prevented them from having children. An important read, for sure.

Book cover of Growing Into Greatness

What is my book about?

In the sun-soaked vineyards of Napa Valley, a daughter's destiny is held hostage by a father's secret.

Only the Beautiful meets The Dutch House in this emotional, historical family saga. Born amidst the dawn of Prohibition, Sofia Russo always dreamed of being her family's next winemaker.
