My 2nd favorite read in 2024

Book cover of Weycombe

Leah St. James ❤️ loved this book because...

This was my first read of G.M. Malliet, but it won’t be my last. The story opens with a woman’s discovery of a body along a running path near her home. The reader soon discovers she knew the victim but wasn’t exactly her bestie, and the mystery unfolds. The story and plot were engaging, but I really enjoyed Malliet’s smart, sophisticated, and quick-witted writing.
