I couldn't stop thinking about this book day or night, even days after I finished reading it. I didn't want to put it down and wanted to find out what had happened to the girls' missing mother. Why had she left them all those years ago and why hadn't she come back. I also loved the romance between the reporter's assistant and the older sister because it was both understated and powerful. Their connection was immediate and I liked that he saw/understood the real her in the first minute and tried to help, do his job, and protect the girls…
