I mistakenly read this book in the summer, but I love that it’s so Christmassy. Scenes involving snow, mince pies, and egg nog make for a perfect snuggly Christmas read.
The lead character, Demi Holly, is getting everything wrong on the same theme as the other books I’m recommending. She’s resigned from her job, has an affair with a loser, and can’t get on with her sister. Despite this, I found plenty of good in Demi and loved that she was funny, real, and relatable.
