Why read it?

1 author picked The Seeing Garden as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

This was a new-to-me author, and I absolutely loved the way she wove this story together with both historical context as well as rich character development and detailed descriptions of early twentieth century New York and California.

I really related to the vulnerability and intrigue of the main character, Catherine Ogden, who must navigate a world that is hell-bent on the all-consuming power of the dollar and male dominance. Ginny Kubitz Moyer’s rich narrative, lyrical prose, and attention to detail are what set this story apart for me.
