My favorite read in 2024

Book cover of Bonds of the Wolf

Karen Nappa ❤️ loved this book because...

Every time I dive into one of Cherise Sinclair’s stories, I know I’m in for a rollercoaster of emotions, fierce battles, and characters who stay with me long after I’ve turned the last page. She has a gift for creating vivid worlds and characters with depth—strong, honorable men and women who are as courageous as they are complex.

This book, like all in the series, delivers that perfect blend of action, romance, and internal struggle. The characters are flawed yet inspiring, facing their fears and scars in ways that feel real and resonant. It’s refreshing to see protagonists who not only fight for their loved ones but also for what’s right, even when it demands everything they have.

I’m thrilled to see the hints of more stories on the horizon and can’t wait to return to the Wild Hunt Legacy. This series is a treasure for any lover of paranormal romance who craves something meaningful and intense.

My 3rd favorite read in 2024

Book cover of The Nightmare in Him

Karen Nappa ❤️ loved this book because...

In The Nightmare in Him, Suzanne Wright continues to unravel the captivating, shadowy world of immortals with a perfect mix of passion, danger, and raw emotion. Wynter and Cain’s bond is as intense as ever, tangled in secrets and a past that haunts them both. The chemistry between them is electric, but what stands out even more is their loyalty and strength in the face of darkness.

Wright’s writing pulled me in, not just with steamy scenes but with the depth of her characters and the constant push and pull between love and survival. Wynter’s resilience and Cain’s protectiveness hit all the right notes, especially as the stakes keep rising with unexpected threats and a power struggle that could tear everything apart. And why is Wynter so drawn to Cain’s Garden?

If you’re a fan of fantasy romance with a dash of the forbidden and a storyline that doesn’t shy away from the gritty side of love and war, this book is a must-read. Can’t wait to see where Wright takes Wynter and Cain next!
