I can’t say enough good stuff about Price’s books. She pulls you in instantly with thoughtful details that bring the story to life. This book had me turning pages late into the night. The only thing that kept me from being totally bummed when I finished the story was knowing that there was more in the series! Trust me, this is one that will have you rushing through your day so that you can cozy up in your favorite reading spot and spend more time with the characters of this delightful novel. Bonus: It’s a quick and snappy read, perfect for a weekend. I personally love shorter books with fast pacing, so this was right up my alley.

What is this book about?

(Digital and print editions EDITED - thanks to reader reviews!) She'd moved to L.A. straight out of college, but the closest Meghan Linden had come to Hollywood was the view from her office window. So, when her best friend sets her up to audition for the pilot of a new sitcom, Meghan is hardly amused... That is, until she's cast as the anonymous narrator for the show. Now, she's juggling a secret identity, avoiding the press, and trying to hide a crush on the man who now controls her future: Ryder Christianson, lead writer of "Truth in Advertising". When it…

My 2nd favorite read in 2024

Book cover of The Light From You

Lark Holiday ❤️ loved this book because...

I have toyed around with the idea of writing historical romance, but after reading Lane’s book, I am not even sure I should bother. She already perfected it! I can’t tell you how many times I said “just one more chapter…” Before I knew it, I had finished the book! I have read several other World War Two era romances before, but this was my first with an Italian focus. I am telling you, it is P-E-R-F-E-C-T. I loved it so much that I booked a trip to Italy after, okay people?! What more can I say? Bonus: Not only are each of Ellison’s books completely lovable, but they are also inclusive. Check out this thoughtful author right now!

Book cover of Shamrocks and Surprises

Lark Holiday ❤️ loved this book because...

This is the definition of a sweet small town romance. While the story was as cute as a button, it also carried a very real message. I highly recommend this St. Patrick’s day love story if you enjoy holiday romances, quirky side characters that you will adore as much as the hero and heroine, and a small town that is pretty much a character in and of itself. Bonus: It’s also the first in series, so there is plenty more to love after you finish this one! And you guessed it, they are each themed with their own holiday. How fun is that?!

What is this book about?

"This definitely hit the spot!""If you love small town romance with a Hallmark flavour, you'll love Shamrocks and Surprises.". “Lucky” Lucy Callahan can fix anything, which is why her boss sent her to the Dew Drop Inn. The neglected hotel sounds like the perfect challenge for a woman who likes to bring things to their full potential. It’s a shame that the cute bar owner who asked her out doesn’t seem to appreciate her efforts.. Roy Wagner’s family feud with the business next door is older than he is. He’d happily see the hotel go up in flames—he’d even supply…
