Thought-provoking, well-researched, balanced, scholarly but very readable and engaging. I will be re-reading this many times to get to grips with the concepts covered. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested pre-history and how that impacts on history and then on the present.

Well written and informative quick read with an excellent bibliography. This can be reconsidered as an opening salvo for further studies as it opens the doir to Asia for those looking for the Goddess.
