While the clever writing and beautiful illustration would hold their own among today's secular books in this genre, it is a 'true to the text' bible story that is gospel centered and sets you up for great conversations. I purchased it to present this Bible story to pre-schoolers at church, but my own 9 and 6 year olds liked it so much that I will be getting another copy for home.
