A quirky heroine and fast-paced, humorous story made this a very enjoyable read for me. It grabbed me from the very start when the heroine, Izzy Greene—a zany, slightly-clumsy but creative food services worker—finally breaks up with her loser live-in boyfriend. Ritchie’s no great loss and anyway, Izzy has a long-standing crush on Cardwell Bennett (Scottish and drool-worthy), the star of the smash TV series, “Poe” for which her company provides food services. But what could a man like Cardwell see in little, old Izzy?
Finding out was a treat. Along the way there’s a fan blog, a paparazzi blitz, an exploding auto shop and a series of cryptograms that appear in Izzy’s email without explanation. I happen to love cryptograms. I also loved Cardwell’s security team, who are his brothers—two huge, ginger-haired Scotsmen who wear kilts and spout Gaelic.
This story’s a lot of fun, especially if you appreciate a black sense of humor. Recommended!

Yours Truly Cardwell B introduces us to a lovable yet equally lovably flawed character Izzie (Isadore) as she stems the tide of paparazzi, and a jealous ex-boyfriend and his equally vindictive new amour. The world Ms Pierce sets up is unique and full of humorous twists, but once again, it's Izzie we fall in love with more than anyone, a character that even though a woman, even I as a man can relate to on some level. Hats off to Ms Pierce on her premiere novel!

This book was such fun to read, I didn't want it to end, and would love to read on into a sequel. Izzie is a great character, clever, funny and loveable, and her friends and enemies are excellently drawn and realistic. While this isn't in any sense a crime/ mystery book, it does have a very interesting plot with a high puzzle element, which isn't really resolved until the last chapter, although the book's title is quite a clue!
Izzie is an accident prone girl who is one of the three partners in a catering firm which is currently contracted to supply food on the set of the smash hit TV show Poe. Secretly, she also runs a top blog which focuses on Poe, and even more secretly she loves Cardwell Bennett, the star of Poe. When she gives Cardwell a lift to pick up his car from the Auto Repair Shop and is photographed by the media, she becomes the centre of a paparazzi storm, and things escalate from there. K.J.Pierce takes us on an edge of the seat ride through drama after drama until the final, beautifully handled climax, and, of course, the happy ending.
This is a first class example of the light, witty woman's fiction which is so popular currently. If this is your type of book, you'll love Yours Truly Cardwell B., as I did. Warmly recommended!
