Ken Blanchard, coauthor of The New One Minute Manager and One Minute Mentoring

“Great leaders are great communicators, as Dianna Booher points out in this smart, useful book. If you want to become a top-notch strategic communicator, you’d do well to heed the advice in its pages.”
Marshall Goldsmith, executive coach, business educator, New York Times bestselling author, and Thinkers50 #1 leadership thinker in the world

“Dianna Booher’s brilliant new book, Communicate like a Leader, is the single-best communication guide I have ever read. In it are thirty-six clear, concise, relevant, and practical bits of strategic advice on how to connect with others. No fluff. No wasted words. All substance. I guarantee you that there is something in this book that you can use immediately—and more that you can apply tomorrow and the next day and the next. Buy this right now, read it as soon as you get it, and then put Dianna’s expert advice to work for you. You will be very glad that you did.”

John Addison, bestselling author; Leadership Editor, Success magazine; and CEO, Addison Leadership Group

“More than a mere treatise on communication, this is an extremely practical and actionable book about becoming a better leader. They understand that if their message does not take deep root, it will likely make little difference in shaping outcomes. In her newest book,
Communicate like a Leader, Dianna Booher calls upon her vast body of work to create an inspirational playbook for leaders in pursuit of excellence. A must-read for people seeking to propel their career.”

Dianna Booher is an incredibly prolific author who has emerged with another highly readable and practical book that will be helpful to people across many functions and levels of an organization. It not only asks leaders to think before acting but gives them the tools to do that effectively. I especially enjoyed her chapters on crafting strategic questions and being a leader who laughs. The examples and advice are spot on and well researched. Highly recommend this one!

If you are a leader, no matter what level, you need this book. If you've read anything by Booher, you know the advice is sound and doable. What I liked best was the bite-size format of this book. You can put it somewhere close and go back when you need just the right words or a quick review on your best strategic approach for your situation. Highly recommend this book!

Easy to read and informative. I just felt like much of the material covers topics that I've already seen in other management books. So if you've read many of the popular titles in this field, much will sound familiar here.

Dianna Booher does it again. This book gives practical strategies, wisdom and tips that I wish I knew 30 years ago. I gave copies of this to college graduates in May - they need this advice! But leaders and wanna-be leaders of all ages will learn from this book.

Author keeps using “this audio” to refer to the audiobook itself. That’s enough to drive you batty, but it’s paired with superficial content that gets steadily worse throughout the first three chapters.

Woof.
