Child of God
I sensed a bit of over play to recall early childhood memories, slights, and parental flaws; but yeah, I get it. Maybe I should probe more into my reluctance to speculate each emotion and memory of my childhood; but I've got enough "today" problems to bridge!
Each the chapters had plenty of definition, symptoms, behavioral analysis, and steps for working through the issues of that chapter to truly be helpful (NOT that this is a self-help book to eliminate counseling and therapy). But the greatest help was the author's insights on God's presence and grace in Christ to keep living life abundantly despite all emotional/behavioral hardships and challenges!
I do reckoned this book, especially happy knowing that I will return to it again spending more time dealing with some of my past!!
