I recently bought two copies of this book so that I could share with my adult daughter one of her father's favorite stories.

The People look just like normal Americans, but have paranormal abilities such as telepathy and the ability to fly. ,They came here from outer space and had no wish to hide what they were, but soon learned that normals could not handle a group that was so different. That is something most of us can relate to, for we have different ability sets and that means most of us are above average at something--and persecuted for it.

This is a novel, very satisfying to read.

In the 1960's "Shadow on the Moon" stole my heart, and I read all the Zenna Henderson I could lay my hands on. I bought this and First Pilgramage to introduce my neice when she's the right age. I guess I took the Golden Age writers for granted back then, but today I wish I owned every one I ever read.
