Omg! This story was amazing, I read it in about 4 hours while at work!!! I cannot wait for part 2, Keisha really outdid herself with this book and now I am sad that it's over. Messiah was and still is a hot damn mess, lol. She definitely needs to do some more growing up, before she can finally learn to love whole heartily again! Byron was a complete a-hole so, I cannot believe she is considering running back to him again. Shyhiem also has some deep issues as well, this book was well-written and unbelievably beautiful, I cannot wait until the new one.. I need to find out what happens next! Bravo... 5 STARS all around!!!

This was a well written story about love with all its ups and downs. It wasn’t fairytale but real life drama. It had good sex scenes, love, betrayal and pain. It was definitely a good read. Messiah has struggled with love her whole life and just when she thinks she’s found all of the twists and turns happen. I can’t wait to read part two. Kudos for a well written story.

It’s the right balance of dialog and narration. Being from missouri I’m already pulled in cause of the setting. She gave you enough background on the characters to immediately connect with them and immerse yourself into the story. It’s descriptive but not over bearing. Even in third person you can hear the tones of the two different characters and their thoughts. (Like I said I’m picky 😂😭)

Once again, I'm left speechless by one of Keisha Erving's books. I loved reading about Shyheim and Messiah's story and I can't wait to see how it ends. I have never been so emotional while reading a book. Messiah's pain resonated with me, as I've dealt with depression myself, so I understood how she felt. This story kept me on my toes and I didn't want to put the book down. Everytime I was away from it, I thought about it. I will definitely read the whole series. Keisha Erving is an amazing writer.
