Let go. It’s much easier.
I am grateful for this book. Steps 6 & 7 have been difficult. If you’re in ANY twelve step program then you probably know by now not much (in AA big book, which all programs are directly derived from) is written about step 6, like at all, so this was a quick read that really helped in multiple facets about deepening my knowledge or lack there of..of my character defects, embracing them and understanding how to let them go most importantly!! I’m still on step 6 and almost finished the chapter on step 6 and haven’t started on the chapter of “drop the rock” for step 7 just yet but I already wanted to review this book & let someone know this will be such a good addition to your step work (when you reach these steps, I am so grateful to have found it) and I am going to be lending it to my sponsee’s to read as well when it’s their time to do steps 6 & 7. The more information, knowledge & experience (people share experience in the book in very short stories which had been awesome & enlightening to read) I can find about each step I’m on, then the more I believe I have better recovery in working MY program! 💕
