The detailed descriptions of the Tucson Medical Examiners Office, Sonora Desert, and medical procedures in forensic anthropology are all impressive. The prologue creates suspense, several red herrings maintain interest in the plot, and the epilogue leaves the reader with something to consider. Fun read.
