This is a wonderful keepsake for my family as Mike and Phoebe are our direct descendents. In addition this book should be explored and discussed in African American studies classes.

this book was written by my great uncle Donald P. Stone. I am so proud to come from such a rich heritage. I love reading this book and knowing what my great great grand father went through to accomplish the education of African Americans. I actually had the pleasure in being in his house and view his grave.... I am proud to be a descendent of Mike and Phoebe Carmichael.

This is an excellent novel detailing the struggles and successes of African-Americans in the deep south. I am proud to be an descendant from this great family. The Fallen Prince will be a cherished item in my library.
