Trapped in Roblox!: An UnOfficial Roblox Kid Production Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 283 ratings

Kids who love Roblox will love this. It is the story about 10-year old Dean Hanson and the wild adventures he has trying to escape from inside Roblox back to his parents and home.

Age Level: 7-11 Grade Level: 2nd and up

Dean Hanson loves Roblox and computer games. Almost as much as he loves his parents. But things go wild when he sneaks to his computer to play more Roblox after his mom and dad go to sleep. You see, it is a dark and stormy night and the adults always warn you not to play video games when the lightning is out. Dean learns the hard way after he is sucked into the game — once his favorite hobby, now a trap.

But hope is not lost. The good news is that there is a train that heads out of Roblox and right back to Dean's computer. The bad news is that it will cost a lot of robux to get it — and he'll need to get those robux fast if he's going to go back home before his parents wake up!

Follow Dean as he explores the Roblox world, from nomnomnomming his food, to tearing through dangerous obbies, out-building tycoons, and out-thinking the greatest tower defenders the world has to offer.

What a great book for elementary age children who like video games! My ten year old grandson said "This is a great book!" He couldn't put it down. This book was written by a ten year who pays attention to detail. My favorite part was when the author used a lego horde in his contest, writing "The little plastic men charged forward and whenever a horse stepped on one of them it squealed in pain and faded on the spot." I had to laugh wondering how many times he had stepped on one of his own lego toys while barefoot. I enjoyed reading this book and am not well versed in the Roblox video game. Kids who know the game will love this book!

This unofficial ROBLOX story is made by Dean Hanson, writer of “Nightmare Spider Apocalypse”. It’s entitled “Trapped in ROBLOX”. The author, Dean, as of 2022, is 12 years old.
The story follows Dean, the author, playing ROBLOX after hours in the time he’s supposed to be asleep. When he turns on the computer, Dean gets sucked into the game. Now Dean must collect enough Robux to get home before dawn and before is parents wake up. To collect said Robux, Dean must play various mini games to collect more and more.
The book has its ups and its downs. For example, occasionally you will see spelling mistakes; however, this only ever happens once or twice. If you like longer reads, this book is not for you. There are around 9 pages in each chapter, and the lines are definitely segmented in a way that a 12 year old would. The font is also quite large. These don’t ruin the book though. Also, book was made for children by a child. I’d recommend that kids around the age range of 9-12 will enjoy this book. As a result, this book is very good for kids and enjoyers of ROBLOX. As a person within that range of enjoyment, I got a very good read out of it.
As I said before, This book is for fans of ROBLOX and for kids. You can probably find some sort of enjoyment in it as an adult as well, but the people who will like it the most are Fans of ROBLOX and children.
The spelling mistakes took it down a little, but that’s all the issues that are “bad” all things considered. Overall, I give this book a 4.5/5 rating.
