- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2024This book is great, it has a wide array of bugs, uses a lot of great action words which are great to teach my two year old and the book is beautifully illustrated.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2024Love books like these for the littles. Educational and entertaining.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2024This book was purchased for me as a baby shower gift. My daughter is obsessed with this book. We have read it so much that our first copy has seen some damage (the book is sturdy, the damage is our fault). I had to get another copy just to keep forever. I will also be purchasing the hard cover book to keep in my collection to have forever. The illustration is brilliant, we love Oscar, the writing itself is so fun. I love that it encourages exploration, play, as well as education. 10/10 - this is our favorite childrens book ever. We read it maybe 30 times a day.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2024Purchased this because my kids class is learning about bugs. It is so cute, and both my kids my 3 year old and almost 2 year old love it! The pictures are so cute, and they really do go through each bug, making it educational. Such a fun book at a great price for 1-3 year olds.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2024My toddler girl is super into bugs right now. This book was suggested alongside a bunch of other bug books I purchased (Maisy’s Nature Walk, Bugs, All Because a Little Bug Went Kachoo, The Lonely Firefly, A Good Place). What a great find!
It’s the perfect board book size for me to hold or for my toddler to hold. The illustrations are darling and the words simple enough that my almost 2 year old has pages memorized. When she sees a picture she’ll spout out the words. I appreciate the back page with the illustration of all bugs with their names because lord knows my toddler asks me time and time again “what’s that?!” and mommy is fresh out of lies. My insect knowledge is clearly not as profound as my daughter.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2024The illustrations are perfect, my toddler finds it both funny and interesting. He spends a lot of time on each page, looking for hidden bugs and pointing out what he finds. I love the large eyes and style of the art and the story is perfect. Definitely recommend for any book collection!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2024I think I enjoy this book more than my toddler. The illustrations are beautiful.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2021I bought this book as a gift for my friend's son, but when it arrived, my daughter saw it and wanted me to read it to her, so I did. Then again. Then again. Needless to say, I had to buy a second copy to send to my friend's son. It's been about a week, and my daughter is OBSESSED. There have been tantrums when we need to stop reading Some Bugs to do something else. It's by far her favorite book. The illustrations are so colorful and layered, there are so many things to look at. She loves pointing at the different bugs (her favorite ones are the hawk moth and the dog tick). The text has a great rhythm and is fun to read, I'm not tired of it yet after our hundredth reading. I highly recommend this gorgeous, fun book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hermoso!
Me encantó.

5.0 out of 5 stars divertido
