- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2013Great book with a lot of twists and turns. Written so well I could visualise each scene as I read it. Would love to see this book turned into a movie!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2015The Resurrected has a lot going for it, not the least of which is a believable cast of characters with very real needs, histories, flaws, and conflicts. Hart puts her own unique spin on the zombie genre, prefacing her zombie outbreak with tornadoes and freak storms and a plague that spreads via purple and blue flowers that turn everyday folk into thrashing madmen and staggering ghouls. In a progressively more apocalyptic landscape, Hart sends her characters—ranging from an alcoholic trying to return home to her children to a blond bombshell with a horrible past and resourcefulness even greater than her enhanced breasts—on epic journeys that will keep your fingertip swiping at your e-reader’s screen. Not only does Hart keep the various storylines infused with plenty of danger and suspense, she also injects a surprising amount of sexual tension, reminding us that passion is as much a need as food and water. While Hart’s writing has many strengths, including some refreshingly real dialogue, she really shines with her sensory description. Whether the scene is gruesome, sexy, or sometimes even both, she will put you in that moment with her skillful description. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2014Completely different take on the zombie genre!!! I loved it! It started out with part 1, which was free, but after reading that I absolutely had to find out what happened next!!! Action from start to finish. Limited mushy parts. Gore EVERYWHERE!!! My imagination and I had a great time with this one. There are a few typos towards the end, but otherwise it was very well written. And I like how all the main character's stories were all tied up in the end. No real cliff hanger ending (can't stand those), but It does kinda make you wonder a bit...
