Review
"What a marvelous blend of theory and practice! Glaser’s writing is so engaging, so personal, and so informative that you will want to read every word. This book should be a requirement for every person who is serious about learning how to lead." -- Leonard O. Pellicer, Dean, College of Education and Organizational Leadership
"I love this book! It is practical, readable and wise. With this book, John Glaser has made an important contribution to our field. He has done a wonderful job of both describing the underlying theory of his approach and offering an effective translation into practice." -- Janet Walden, President and CEO

"Educational leaders who hope to foster the shared vision, collective commitments, and collaborative cultures of true learning communities in their schools will require new ways of thinking and skills. Leading Through Collaboration represents a useful resource for those leaders." -- Richard DuFour, Educational Author and Consultant

- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2022This book is an excellent blend of theory and pragmatism. Glaser weaves theory in with a large number of stories related to the concept at hand. I highly recommend this book and don't understand why more people have not gotten excited about it.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2021The book was in amazing shape with no noted bends or damage. It arrived quickly!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2013Required for college class. Would not have been my first choice. Book could have been half the size if it just relayed facts and the author stayed away from personal stories.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2016Love it!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2005Leading Through Collaboration is loaded with practical tools to help any leader deal more effectively with conflict. The book is not just theory; it is loaded with real examples from the author's wealth of experience. He writes about how effective collaboration requires both attitudes and skills and he helps readers develop both. I've mediated over 1,500 employment disputes and this is one of the best books I've seen on facilitating collaborative problem solving. I strongly recommend it.
