It is very hard to pick a favorite of this collection and because I love them all, I won't even try. I wasn't sure what to expect from the story-line, but in a matter of a few pages, in book 1, I was hooked. Sean Taggert, better known as Little Tag, Ian Taggert's baby brother begins it all in "The Dom Who Loved Me." His love for Grace takes them on an amazing journey with conflicts, passion and drama that will keep you on edge from beginning to end.
Ian Taggert, aka Big Tag, is brilliantly fleshed out with no pun intended to his 6'6" height. He is as fierce as the Vikings were and leads his team of operatives on missions that would have made their hair curl. He makes it difficult to love him, yet he is positively irresistible. For 5 years, he has been only half alive, his spirit broken by the woman he loved with all his soul, and who he thought betrayed him, as she died in his arms.
OMG, has Ian ever met his match! Charlotte, better known as Charlie, suddenly shows up on his doorstep with a sassy grin that just about stops his heart. No spoilers here except to say, the list of enemies keeps growing and the erotic combustion between them is off the charts! I LOVE Ian, especially because of his vulnerability which he tries desperately to keep under wraps.
This is a gloriously poignant story that challenges Charlotte's love for her sister at the expense of her love for Ian and how she redeems herself to ensure they have a future together. There are so many intriguing individuals that make up McKay-Taggert Security, I am already chomping at the bit to begin reading Book 6, Damon Knight's tale. Books #7, 8, and 9 are on my wish list. Kudos Ms. Blake for making a complex plot flow so effortlessly into a most incredible series!
Ian has always been one of the most edgy characters in this series. He is a sarcastic bastard, an jerk extraordinaire, so I was hoping for somebody who would be able to smooth out those edges. Charlotte is the perfect heroine for him - she has sass, knows when to stand up to him and when to back down. She is very aware that what she did five years ago hurt her husband deeply. She does everything to earn back his love and her place in his life, even if it means taking Ian's righteous anger.
Charlotte's trust was everything to Ian and that she didn't give it to him, that she didn't trust him to protect her is still a knife in his gut. He is furious and I totally get that...but held on to his fury just to be stubborn and that annoyed me a little. While it was obvious that Ian would never be a tame pussycat it took a little too long for him to come around but when he fell, he fell hard. Once he realized that Charlie would do almost everything to mend the deep crack between them he started to open up to her.
What I really liked about this book was that I understood both sides of this story. Both of them had a reason to act the way they did. There is also a lot of explosive chemistry between Charlie and Ian - I knew from the beginning that Ian would be one dirty guy and boy was he ever.
Love and Let Die concludes the Eli Nelson - story arc. The whole plot from the first installment to this one was suspenseful and action-packed, leaving me sometimes breathless and on the edge of my seat. The James Bond-themed titles give you an idea what you're getting into - spy games, secrets, lies, intrigue and undercover missions.
It seems that this series is getting better with each book. Next up is Damon Knight, whose story I'm salivating for. He seems sophisticated and typical British so it'll be fun to see him getting down and DIRTY.

Ian Taggart and Charlotte Denisovitch have one hell of story to tell and it leaves you breathless.
Betrayal, devotion and intrigue. Hot sex provided by the ultimate in dominant male, Ian Taggart is the epitome of alpha male.
I am not going to let any plot spoilers out of the bag here but I will say this book takes the series to the next level, the plot thickens and sets the next book up nicely.
I am a massive Lexi Blake fan and this series is easily top of the lists for any fan of D/s romance or fans of thrillers. This series has the lot.
Become big softies with there women.
