A romance journey worth taking

Coral, a single mother, moves to Sunnyvale and when she is in an accident she is rescued by firefighter Rowdy and his crew. As the story progresses boundaries are pushed, walls start to fall, and just as things start to fall into place trouble comes calling bringing danger and the possibility of losing it all. E.M. Shue slides into the Everyday Heroes world with sweetness and excitement giving Rowdy and Coral a romance journey worth taking.

A wonderful story that pulls you in right from the prologue. Coral and her newborn baby have packed up and is leaving LA and everything she went through behind and is headed to start over in Sunnyville. Rowdy has moved back to Sunnyville after leaving the Army, he has just been promoted to lieutenant for the Sunnyville FD. Sworn to be a bachelor for life because of tragedies from his past. When Coral is trapped in her car after a hit and run, Rowdy and his crew come to rescue her and he has an instant attraction and feelings he never felt before for this tiny woman and her son. Rowdy pursues her but Coral brushes off his advances at first but then caves. The relationship is intense and fast but Rowdy tries to go slow because he knows something happened to Coral but she refuses to talk about her past. I loved this story, I love how protective and persistent Rowdy is and how brave yet fragile Coral is. I also love their banter when he introduces her as her girlfriend and she says their just friends, I love his response every time.

Coral and Rowdy!

Coral is a single mother to her son Archer who has recently moved to Sunnyville for a new beginning. She has no support system and is determined to make it on her own when a car accident was both the worst and best thing to happen to her. It may have left her injured but it brought Rowdy into her life.

Rowdy is a firefighter who is one of the first to respond to the accident. When he came to Coral’s rescue, he never expected the feelings she would raise in him. He is determined to be there for her and her son but protecting her from her past may be the biggest challenge of all.

Coral and Rowdy take us on an emotional and suspenseful ride as Coral shows how strong and resilient, she is despite everything she has been through while Rowdy is determined yet understanding as he knows that Coral and Archer are the family he never knew he wanted.

She is hesitant to even go on a date with Rowdy. Can he breakdown her walls and show her how to truly live her life? Will theu work through everything thay is being thrown at them? Confined Space will definitely bring you a emotional rollercoaster. This incredible story will pull you from the begin when Coral packs up herself and her newborn and moves to Sunnyville. Now Rowdy has just move back to Sunnyville. He now the lieutenant of FD. But Rowdy life is about to change when he and the crew responds to a hit and run. And Rowdy rescue Coral and her son. But the instant attraction he feeling for her is something he never felt before so he goes after her. But she does not want anything to with him but he doesn’t give up. Their relationship will have ups and downs but it was wonderful journey watch them fall in love and see Coral trust Rowdy with her heart is incredible.

Confined Space has some wonderful and special characters. E. M. Shue did a fantastic job with storyline. I would definitely recommend Confined Space.

Coral and Rowdy, just amazing!

What an amazing book! I am new to the Everyday Heroes World and I have not read any others in the series. I am so happy to have started with "Confined Space", this book was simply wonderful.

Right away from the Prologue I was on the edge of my seat with suspense. Rowdy and Coral were so good together, even if Coral was being prideful and refusing help at times. Coral was a mystery in the beginning, we know something awful happened but she keeps her secrets close. And Rowdy is feeling stuck, like change is needed but he doesn't know what. He figures it out pretty quick when Coral enters the picture.

The mystery, suspense, action, romance - it all made for a wonderful package and such a great read. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series but in my opinion this can be read as a standalone.

Confined Spaces was a whirlwind of emotion. The story was captivating and I wish there was more! I didn’t know where the story was going to go and that thrill kept the pages flowing for me. Coral and Rowdy are two strong characters that don’t quit. This story was a fantastic addition to the KB worlds!
